“Bro Country” by @katiefrankmusic is out now!!! It was an honor to produce this track (and forthcoming album) for Katie and I’m very stoked for you to hear what we’ve been cooking up lately! Katie is such a great singer & songwriter but she’s also one of the funniest & coolest people I know.. I’ve always loved hanging out and playing in her band and also with her and the crew in @secretamericanmusic .. the good vibes flowed freely in the studio, as did Katie & the band’s talents and it was truly a blast to capture.. “Bro Country” was inspired by Katie’s time living in Nashville and having to endure all the “bros” out there making awful country music… you know the ones… @katiefrankmusic @jonmcnally56 @baran20 @man_roach & I recorded the basic tracks live @cambridge_sound_studios and we brought in @goldiejawn to overdub some awesome fiddle.. all in all, great times! this track is just the tip of the iceberg of what is a great record.. enjoy and let us know what you think! #katiefrank

Unbelievably great time with so many legends aboard @cruiseimportant!!! @podimportant always brings the best party, but the vibes on this boat were unmatched (to say the least)!! So much love to @adamdevine @blakeanderson @ders808 for creating the world’s greatest podcast @podimportant and as always, thanks for bringing me along for the wild ride! Also can’t forget @isaachorne and @hossniehhh for helping make this show the best!! Shout-out to all the performers and all the fans who came and special shoutouts to the @sxmliveloud crew & the @norwegiancruiseline crew for really making this banger cruise a reality!! after various teases over the years, my old band @the.new.connection is finally going to play a proper reunion show! The New Connection more/less pre-dates Instagram and streaming services (active from like 2007-2013?), so our online metrics are trash but I feel like this band was great and very much ahead of its time. we couldn’t be happier to play with our besties @meettheblackburns - a band with members Gerald & I looked up to since we were young teenagers (and thats not just because most of them are very tall!). we’re also very stoked to play with our new friends @the.tressels . there is no place more fitting for this reunion than @kungfunecktie_bar with @davekisspresents pulling the strings.. Doing this show has been a wild ride that I don’t think any of us were expecting, but it’s been super fun to be a part of.. it’s a crazy honor to help produce this show with the crew and hard to believe it’s already been happening for so long!! We’ve done over 270 episodes and over 30 live shows, and it never ceases to amaze me how much comedy gold the dudes bust out every time. I love this show and the whole team and am very excited to see where it goes from here.. Most of these photos are from the 2023 US tour we did.. if you want to see a show, on Nov 20th TII will be in Las Vegas and from Feb 22-26 TII will be doing a fucking CRUISE from Tampa to Cozumel with a ton of exciting special guests… you should definitely come, it’s a guaranteed banger!! Probably lots of things BUT members of those bands all contributed to the first 3 singles off of this @aclu_nationwide benefit compilation. I was honored to master this record and help play a small role in benefitting the ACLU, an organization I have wholeheartedly supported for years. @thejohnnolan of @takingbacksunday & @straylightrun curated this fantastic comp and the great @bornlosersrecords is putting it out Oct 24th. There’s so many great bands on here! Order yours today and help us fight the good fight with awesome tunes! This Sunday 7/27 we open for TALKING HEADS alumni @jerryharrisonofficial @theadrianbelew for @concertsunderthestarskop !! Above is a clip from the Heads’ “Live in Rome 1980” set.. This explosive performance featuring Jerry Harrison (on keys/guitar/vox) and Adrian Belew (on lead guitar/vox) and the rest of the extended TH band is one of my favorite concerts of all time… I love everything that Talking Heads did but I think the Adrian Belew years are my favorite- he’s one of the most inventive & greatest guitarists of all time and just one of the coolest people ever!! I’ve seen the Jerry, Adrian & the REMAIN IN LIGHT band once and they def come VERY fucking close to capturing this incredible Talking Heads energy, thanks to @we.are.coolcoolcool & the incredible @julieslickbass !!! Josh Craft is a freaking legend to all that know him... he’s been and continues to be a pillar in the Philly music scene, but he has been a bit busy kicking pancreatic cancer’s ass lately... so we thought it’d be a great idea to bring a whole lot of friends together to celebrate Josh with music and community at @thefallserclub on July 19th!!
When I first got to college at Drexel in 2003, Josh was one of the first people I met and he invited me to play in a band he was starting with @nervous_robot and @ragingpepper65 ... I didn’t last terribly long in the lineup, but it was an awesome experience and one I remember very fondly, as it’s lead to many very long friendships... Through the years Josh created Cloud entertainment and booked an insane amount of shows all over Philly (including a very hefty amount for @the.new.connection & @cheerselephant at Mill Creek Tavern🤣) and then later he co-founded the excellent non-profit @rock2future with Jessica Craft. Rock To The Future is an amazing non-profit that provides free music programs and support to underserved youth in Philadelphia to help them build skills for lifelong well-being.. if you don’t know about it, you should check RTTF out and consider donating! Anyway, Josh has spent the last 20ish years that I’ve known him, helping everyone through the power of music, so we figured we’d return the favor!!!

Josh Craft is a freaking legend to all that know him... he’s been and continues to be a pillar in the Philly music scene, but he has been a bit busy kicking pancreatic cancer’s ass lately... so we thought it’d be a great idea to bring a whole lot of friends together to celebrate Josh with music and community at @thefallserclub on July 19th!!
When I first got to college at Drexel in 2003, Josh was one of the first people I met and he invited me to play in a band he was starting with @nervous_robot and @ragingpepper65 ... I didn’t last terribly long in the lineup, but it was an awesome experience and one I remember very fondly, as it’s lead to many very long friendships... Through the years Josh created Cloud entertainment and booked an insane amount of shows all over Philly (including a very hefty amount for @the.new.connection & @cheerselephant at Mill Creek Tavern🤣) and then later he co-founded the excellent non-profit @rock2future with Jessica Craft. Rock To The Future is an amazing non-profit that provides free music programs and support to underserved youth in Philadelphia to help them build skills for lifelong well-being.. if you don’t know about it, you should check RTTF out and consider donating! Anyway, Josh has spent the last 20ish years that I’ve known him, helping everyone through the power of music, so we figured we’d return the favor!!!

for the last 7 or 8 years I’ve been slowly helping my dad record his original music whenever the stars aligned.. so many highs and lows came and went during the making this record, but in the end it proved to be the coolest thing we’ve ever done together. I’m very proud to say we’re finally putting this record out into the world later this month and celebrating its release with a show February 1st at @thefallserclub in East Falls!! It will be an incredibly special night and I hope you can make it! I think this record really captures the many elements of what makes this band so special... we had a lot of fun laying down live tracks @retrocitystudios in Oct 2023 and finishing up overdubs and mixing @cambridge_sound_studios in early 2024...

recently unearthed photo I took of @coheed on b&w film while running sound at a show I booked at the Kennett Square American Legion Hall basement on May 3, 2002… Breaking Pangaea, Apparatus Engine & Alison Ranger also played and a fun time was had by all… this was the “Second Stage Turbine Blade” tour- not a bad show for a dumbass 16-year olds to put together… I believe this was the era when my partner in crime @stephenpizzi and I were operating under the R6 productions moniker, putting on punk shows for our high school graduation project and donating most of the profits to “Don’t Do DAT (drugs, alcohol, tobacco)” program at Downingtown High School… pretty laughable bc I probably used the $40 I made off this show to buy beasters… #coheedandcambria

four years ago today, @secretamericanmusic released “HEAVY FEELS” into the world… in our wildest dreams, we could have never imagined some of the strange events that would play out from that day forward… there were of course some very horrible things, but also some very beautiful things. for now, in what seems like a recurring nightmare, I’m trying to focus on the beautiful things... to me, this LP was very fitting for the time and remains just as relevant today. “HEAVY FEELS” showcases and explores the multitudes that live within us all, for better or worse. this was not an easy album to make, but rest assured I had the greatest time writing, recording & mixing it with some of my best friends and will always look back on “HEAVY FEELS” as a high-water mark creatively and professionally. please check it out and let me know if you dig it… and if you want it on vinyl, go to secretamerican.com haha #secretamerican #heavyfeels

one year ago today @podimportant was five shows deep into the US tour and we were headed home from a crazy night in Denver... at this point we had already hit Boston, Chicago, Phoenix & Long Beach and tons of fun, wild times were had!! ❤️ @podimportant just dropped Episide 217 yesterday(!) and the dudes talked about @atibaphoto a bit so I figured I’d steal some of his photos from an epic night in Denver w him, the TII crew and some of the world’s best skaters from the @nikesb team… I mixed in some of my random photos from earlier in the tour as well.. if you’re interested in listening back to those live @podimportant episodes they start at Episode 154 Live in Boston.. don’t sleep on it, because the world has spoken and it’s unanimous that @podimportant “This Is Important” is the greatest podcast of all time!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #thisisimportant #thisisimportantpodcast #tii #tiination #workaholics #podimportant #greattimes #tiitour

It’s called “Yeehaw Stuff” and it’s the good kind of country!! I recorded the basic tracks live @cambridge_sound_studios last summer with assistance from @everest.r & passed it along to the one & only @mike.vivas who recorded all RF’s vocals & keys!! The “Yeehaw Stuff” record was mixed & mastered this spring by yours truly and is now officially ready for your next honky tonk!!!
